appliance in all respects. The silently working
appliance meets high quality standards and
guarantees the efficient use of resources and
energy throughout its entire life cycle, during

This refrigerator is designed for installation in
recreation vehicles such as caravans or motor-

tion tested for this application in accordance with
the EU Gas Appliance Directive.
Before you start using the refrigerator, plea-
se read the operating instructions carefully.
2.1 Warning and safety notices
Work on gas equipment, exhaust system
and electrical facilities must be carried out
by qualified personnel only.
It is imperative that the operating pressure cor
responds to the data specified on the rating
plate of the appliance. Compare the operating
pressure of the rating plate with the data spe-
cified on the pressure reducing valve of the
liquid gas cylinder.
Operating the appliance on gas is not permitted
while travelling on ferries or standing at fuelling
stations.
Do not operate the appliance on gas while
transporting the caravan or motorhome with a
transport or tow vehicle.
The appliance must not be exposed to rain.
The refrigerator is not suitable for the pro-
per storage of medication.
2.2 Information on coolant
Ammonia is used as a coolant. This is a natural
compound also used in household cleaning
agents (1 litre of Salmiak cleaner contains up to
200g of ammonia - about twice as much as is
used in the refrigerator). Sodium chromate is
used for corrosion protection (1.8% by weight of
the solvent).
In the event of leakage (easily identifiable from the
unpleasant odour), proceed as follows:
- Switch off the appliance.
- Air the room thoroughly.
- Inform authorised customer services.
Never use an unshielded flame to
check gas bearing parts and
pipes for leakage!
Protect children!
When disposing of the refrigerator, detach all
refrigerator doors and leave the storage racks
in the refrigerator. This will prevent accidental
locking.
If you smell gas:
- Close the shut-off valve of the gas supply
and the valve of the cylinder.
- Open the windows and leave the room.
- Do not switch on any electrical appliances.
- Extinguish unshielded flames.
- Inform customer services.
Never open the cooling unit! It is under
high pressure.
